WHY DO YOU BUILD FREE WEBSITES?
The reason I do this is simple: it’s a great way for me to build connections with entrepreneurs who might hire me for larger paid projects as their businesses grow. 97% of the people for whom I’ve built a website for free have been happy with the results and 10-20% go on to hire me for other paid projects down the line. They might hire me to build more complicated websites, an app, or do ongoing development work for them.
HOW CAN YOU AFFORD THIS?
To put a website online – and to keep it online – you’ll need web hosting, which costs a few dollars per month. I cover my website development costs by asking you to sign up for web hosting with one of the most popular web hosting providers, SiteGround, using my affiliate link.
When you use my link, I get a commission. This commission is paid to me by SiteGround. You pay nothing extra yourself.
That’s it! I simply recoup some of my costs by receiving the affiliate commission when you sign up for web hosting.
I ALREADY HAVE WEB HOSTING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. AM I STILL ELIGIBLE?
You’ll need to sign up for one of my preferred web hosting companies to get access to our free-website service. With SiteGround, there’s a one-year plan for just $35 USD which you can access using my affiliate link. This means that you’ll be getting a full professional WordPress website for which other web agencies charge several thousand dollars for less than $40. I’M ALREADY SIGNED UP WITH BLUEHOST OR SITEGROUND.
If you’re already paying for Bluehost or SiteGround, I can still work with you under certain circumstances. Go ahead and submit an application and indicate that you already have web hosting set up with one of these companies. I’ll reach out if I think I can still build you a website.
WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND ABOUT HAVING A WEBSITE AND WANT TO CANCEL?
SiteGround is very affordable – just a few dollars per month for the first year – and they generally get great reviews. If you change your mind on wanting a website, though, or wish to use a different hosting company, you can get a refund from SiteGround at any point within 30 days.
Since I finish most websites within 12-15 days, you’ll have plenty of time if you change your mind.
I WANT A WEBSITE BUT I DON’T WANT TO SIGN UP FOR WEB HOSTING.
To have a website online, you have to pay for web hosting. The only alternative to this is services like Wix. With Wix, however, your domain will look like yourdomain.wix.com (that is, it’ll have the word “wix” in it). If you want your own website (not a sub-domain of Wix), with an actual URL (yourdomain.com), web hosting is required.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS OR SUBSCRIPTION FEES?
Nope.
I won’t request your credit card. I won’t have you sign any kind of payment contracts with us. Nothing like that.
What you will need to do is to sign up for website hosting (which is what you’ll need to put any website on the internet, and a one-year plan is just $35). But the commission I receive from the hosting provider is paid by them, not you.
If you want, you can also pay for a professional website template for us to build your website on. I usually recommend Divi for this. But you can also choose a free template, like Neve, one of the ones offered by WordPress. That’s 100% up to you.
DO I NEED TO HAVE A DOMAIN NAME ALREADY?
If you’ve already bought a domain name, that’s great. If you haven’t chosen one yet, that’s completely fine. I’ll show you how to do that.
